MIT Sloan School of Management
Jeffrey is a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management and holds a research appointment at Harvard University. He advises corporate boards and senior executives on artificial intelligence strategy, governance, and ethical technology adoption. Jeffrey is the author of Boundaries of Tolerance: A Foundational Model for Ethical AI Strategy and Governance (Wiley, September 2026).
Now EY-retired after more than three decades with the firm, Jeffrey pioneered innovation, developing and commercializing 25+ businesses and solutions that generate over $400M in annuity revenue. He is also qualified to serve as a financial expert for public company audit committees under SEC, NYSE, and NASDAQ standards.
Jeffrey develops expertise in emerging technology through deep engagement with leading research and policy communities. In addition to his appointments at MIT and Harvard, he previously held fellowships or appointments at Boston University School of Law, New America, and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
His research and advisory work help corporate boards and executive teams define the boundaries of acceptable AI innovation and govern those systems responsibly.
